
La feria de DRUPA en 2012 ha tenido menos visitantes que la
edición de 2008, alrededor de un 20% menos de visitantes, que con 314500
visitas (190000 de fuera de Alemania), sigue siendo el mayor evento del sector
en el calendario. Se ha visto un repunte de estands de productores emergentes
como la India o Sur América y en particular de China con más de 1850
expositores. Aunque sigue siendo Alemania la principal fuente de visitantes con
el 40%.
Las tendencias encontradas en el DRUPA 2012 han sido:
- Los proveedores
ponen el foco en los "end-to-end workflows" y otros software.
- Las múltiples
opciones de acabados dan un respiro al sector.
El nuevo sistema de Nanografía de Landa fue sin duda la
mayor sorpresa en DRUPA, y Landa sin duda hizo buenas ventas.
Pero ya mirando al futuro, el próximo gran evento será IPEX
2014, aunque los anuncios de HP y AGFA de no presentarse, no son precisamente
buenas noticias para los organizadores ni para el sector. Habrá que estar
atentos.
