[English Version] In Spain, since early 2008 they began to know and see the first signs of the current economic situation, a situation that is difficult for some, for others it lasts, and others (many) has proved to be a complete disaster.
And during this time, I've been hearing, reading and analyzing the characteristics and technology needs of businesses of friends and acquaintances in the town where I live, just outside Madrid.
After carrying more than twelve years working in the market for MPS (Managed Print Solutions), it is not uncommon to find many companies that need help and advice when deciding on a certain type of technology infrastructure especially around printers, multifunctional systems document management. This shows that small and medium enterprises remain an undervalued market by MPS providers, where historically, always been used, when defining products and services, those who work and have given previous results in a model large accounts and large projects.
The printing infrastructure of a company, any company, represents a large part of the minimum requirements to conduct business, this means that printers and MFPs are a major expense when getting started, and an expense perhaps greater maintenance. And especially considering that much control the use made of the printers, since otherwise spending triggers and how to solve complicated.
The current economic situation has forced many small businesses to look for every dollar you spend and every dollar they invest in to help survive the crisis. Yet still there are many companies that ignore the potential for cost control and managed print solutions to significantly reduce costs and improve the effectiveness of their print infrastructure.
In the past, MPS solutions were focused on large companies that allow business margins to justify the investment in devices and project. However today, are appearing a number of software and management solutions, from independent companies that cater to the needs of small businesses where margins are much tighter making possible benefits, although not as striking as in large enterprises can reduce the cost and improve the use of printers.
In order to implement these solutions in small business, you have to understand from the base needs and special conditions of each sector, each market and almost every company, which for device manufacturers, yet expensive is performed and little effective.
