[English Version] Initially, the concept of the paperless office grew out of the new technological era of the Internet and information society. One
idea, more or less utopian, sought the complete elimination of print
and paper documentation to move to an environment or technology platform
to do so accessible and available to all components of the company.
This seems simple, it is however still today a challenge for many companies that have failed or invested in new internal document management systems. However, the data are very clear, many companies still rely on paper for much of their business processes and have not glimpsed the way to move to a more efficient environment.
And it's funny because, at the present time, the consumption of information and flows to follow are much more than a decade ago, which further complicated the way we handle information, this coupled with a place that depends still a lot of paper, producing a chain reaction that leads to more complicated daily activity of certain businesses.
But what are the real reasons for this change has not occurred across the board?, You must first understand the usage patterns of end users with inadequate management policies, do not force a change in usage habits. It should also be noted that, in Spain, there are still many generations of workers (let alone older) who are not involved in new technologies and also have no interest in doing so. The lack of vision and innovation of some business generates a lock on the incorporation of new management technologies.
Currently on the market there are many document management solutions and managed print services (Managed Print Services) that improve the invaluable points to use and control of the printing environment of an office and the documents they work with.
